Bronze, FRENCH; early sixteenth century. The "buttresses" are identical to those on M36-1938. Cast with a number of motifs including a round headed plaque with the Virgin and Child and Angels, St Catherine in a lozenge, the Vernicle, and the Gothic letters, MP probably for Maria Gratiae Plena (Mary, full of grace).
