Silver-gilt saltcellar resting on three scrolling foliage feet with spread eagles above. The circular body is of shallow convex form with a sunken centre; it is embossed with a band of flowers and shells on a matted ground incorporating a lion mask, dolphin head and vacant scroll cartouche. Above the plain, waisted neck is a border decorated with floral embossing. The liner is detachable.
