Lettered illustrations of four moths, a butterfly and a fulgoridae ('lantern fly'). Labelled below the image as: The Chinese Lantern fly Expanded; The Great Pink under Wing’d Moth; The Large Argus Butterfly; The Lesser Pink under Wing’d Moth; The Green Oak Moth; The Little Elm Tree Moth. The image is dominated by the fulgoridae in the centre of the sheet, shown with its wings outstretched. 'The Large Argus Butterfly', 'The Lesser Pink under Wing’d Moth' and 'The Green Oak Moth' are depicted twice, once with their wings closed and again with them open (NB: the image of 'The Green Oak Moth' with its wings closed is not lettered).
