Fragment, brocaded silk satin, China, Qing dynasty, 19th century.

Fragment of brocaded silk with a pattern on a yellow satin ground, of intersecting eight-sided lozenges, filled alternately with flower and geometric ornament. Brocaded in red, green and blue. Inscribed on the end of the web in Chinese.
