Delftware. Tile, tin-glazed earthenware with transfer-printed decoration, probably printed by Guy Green, Liverpool, ca. 1775-1780.
Tin-glazed earthenware tile, square, transfer-printed in black wash over with transparent green enamel, with a classical urn with a medallion and satyr mask handles. Border of rococo scrolls. The design has been covered with oil paint and gilding, which is partially worn off.
