Albarello, fritware, black slip under a turquoise glaze, Iran (Kashan), late 12th to early 13th century.

Fritware albarello, of cylindrical shape with slightly incurved sides and a short neck, decorated in black slip and covered with a turquoise glaze. Painted with foliated scrolls on the body and oblique stripes on the shoulder. The foot is unglazed.
