Title page for a volume of Tantra or rGyud, Volume A, part 1. Composed of a sheet of oblong thick paper painted black with lettering in gold and illustrated with three paintings of Amitayus, Ushnishavijaya and Tara. Protected by a curtain of yellow satin lined with blue and red satin.

This is the title page to the first volume of Tantra which forms part of the canonical scripture or Kangyur associated with the Nyingma or "Old Order" of Tibetan Buddhism.
